Thofique trained in Acute Medicine in London and spent 10 years setting up an AMU and Ambulatory Emergency care in Singapore before moving back home to the UK and joining the Frimley team. He’s interested in Venous Thrombosis and obsessive about reducing patient’s length of stay in hospital.

Zack has a special interest in postgraduate medical education and point-of-care ultrasound. He is the current national trainee representative for the Society for Acute Medicine, as well as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at UCL and an Academic Tutor on the Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Education at RCP London.

Dr Yohan Samarasinghe
Yohan is an Imperial trainee who has a CCT in Clinical Pharmacology and General Internal Medicine, with a specialist interest in Diabetes and Hypertension. He has seen Acute Medicine grow at Frimley from its inception as a specialty. He is one of the RCP Tutors and a senior lecturer at Brunel Medical School.

Dr Anika Wijewardane
​Anika is the Urgent and Emergency Care (UEC) Clinical Director. She's also England representative for the Society for Acute Medicine and the national clinical lead for the GIRFT (Getting It Right First Time) UEC Improvement Program. She is passionate about organisational flow, service development and building high-performing, collaborative teams.

Dr Muhanad Zeidan
Muhanad trained within the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Deanery and has been a Consultant at Frimley since 2024. He is passionate about improving patient flow, delivering high-quality care, and ensuring an excellent patient experience. He is also keen to make the Acute Medicine department an excellent environment for training doctors and all healthcare professionals.
