Mock IMT Interviews

On 12th January, consultants, registrars and IMTs from the department laid on an evening of mock interviews for FY2s and locally-employed doctors applying for IMT.

The event was organised by a team of the trust’s current IMTs led by Dr Ameya Benedict.

Participating doctors had the opportunity to practise interview skills and receive feedback from consultants and peers.

Consultant Acute Physician Dr Zack Ferguson said: “It has become increasingly competitive for doctors in the early stages of their career to obtain specialty training posts.

“I’m delighted that we've been able to support our local workforce and we wish them the best of luck in their upcoming interviews.”
